Is There a Way to Force Logout an Agent in LiveAgent?
This article addresses whether administrators or owners can forcefully log out an agent from the LiveAgent panel.
Overview
Currently, LiveAgent does not provide an option to force logout an agent remotely. There is no command, button, or setting available in the admin panel that allows an owner or administrator to forcefully terminate an active agent session.
Agent Showing as Available After Logging Out
In some cases, an agent may appear as available in the panel even after they have logged out. This can be caused by session or connectivity issues. If you encounter this behavior, please contact LiveAgent support so the technical team can investigate and resolve the issue.
Related Behavior
- LiveAgent does not support simultaneous logins on multiple devices with the same agent account. Logging in from a second device will automatically log out the first session.
- Agents remain connected as long as they have a stable network connection and are not logged in from another device, browser, or browser tab.
