This article explains the hosting infrastructure used by FlowHunt, including the cloud provider, data center location, compliance certifications, and how customer data is handled across regions.
Primary Server Location
All FlowHunt production servers are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the eu-central-1 region, located in Frankfurt, Germany.
FlowHunt currently operates its core services from this single AWS region. Customer accounts are established based on the customer's location, and Service Data remains within that region unless otherwise agreed between the customer and FlowHunt. Data may be shifted among data centers within a region to ensure performance and availability.
Embedding Service
In addition to the primary AWS infrastructure, FlowHunt uses a separate service for generating embeddings for knowledge base content:
- Embedding Service: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) eu-west-1
- This service is not configurable by the user and is used automatically when knowledge base content is processed.
Data Center Compliance & Infrastructure
The AWS Frankfurt facility used by FlowHunt meets the following infrastructure and compliance standards:
- Tier III+ or Tier IV data center classification
- Compliant with PCI DSS, SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO 27001
- Redundant power supply with UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) units
- Backup generators for additional power resilience
Data Residency
FlowHunt production systems are located in co-location facilities in the United States and Europe. Customer accounts are established in one of these regions based on where the customer is located. Service Data remains in the assigned region unless a different arrangement is explicitly agreed upon between the customer and FlowHunt.
