Customer question: How to backup all tickets?
Solution: Currently, LiveAgent allows you to export tickets and their messages individually to HTML or PDF, but it does not provide a built-in option to create a complete backup of all tickets with their history in bulk directly from the interface. The export to CSV function in the panel only exports a preview of tickets, without including the full ticket messages or custom fields.
To obtain a full backup of all tickets with their complete histories, you have two options:
- Using the LiveAgent API: If you have access to IT or development resources, you can utilize the LiveAgent API to programmatically export all tickets and their message histories. More information is available in the knowledge base.
- Requesting an Encrypted Database Dump: Alternatively, you can request that the LiveAgent development and infrastructure teams create an encrypted database dump of your data. Details about this process can be found here.
Please note that bulk export of all ticket data with messages is not available directly from the user interface and requires either API access or a special request to our support team.
